Janet Sheed Roberts, the granddaughter of Glenfiddich founder William Grant, lived to the ripe old age of 110.

From the company's stocks, Glenfiddich Malt Master Brian Kinsman helped decide on a cask of Scotch whisky that had been aging given that New Year's Eve in 1955 almost the halfway point of Roberts' 110 years.

The business says that is a world record.
"We had a couple of drams with him afterwards," Kinsman says. "He was a beautiful man, essentially, and we had a fantastic outdated chat."
The whisky was the star of the conversation, of training course.
