Small stuff is obtaining a big second. There is skateboarding for your fingers, cupcake- size lasagna, and now we have discovered photography featuring meals as a backdrop for miniature life. In a nutshell, which is the theme of Christopher Boffoli's Major Appetites series, on show at Seattle's Winston Wachter gallery by means of Dec. 21.
"If you contemplate how numerous museums are filled with ancient artifacts that are little representations of folks and things... you know that we have been fascinated with miniatures for tens of 1000's of years," Boffoli tells The Image Present by means of electronic mail.

Boffoli describes his method as typically commencing with the meals. Then he dives into his collection of miniature props and figures to uncover a clever match. And the moment he is performed, he'll frequently compose a clever caption.
Boffoli tells The Image Show that he was inspired by childhood movies and Television displays particularly ones that showed little people today in a standard sized planet.
